Ingredients
- 1 (2.5-3.5-pound) butternut squash, cut in half lengthwise, with seeds and stringy bits scooped out and discarded
- 1/4 cup salted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- salt, to taste
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2 -Line an 18x26-inch baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 3 -Place the butternut squash, cut-side up, on the prepared baking sheet, brush the inside with the butter, and sprinkle with the brown sugar and the cinnamon.
Step 4 -Bake the butternut squash, uncovered, until it is fork-tender, about 50 minutes-1 hour.
Step 5 -Sprinkle the butternut squash with the salt.
Step 6 -Use a large knife to slice the butternut squash into pieces.
Step 7 -Plate and serve.
