This is the end-all, be-all when it comes to quick and delicious flavors for dinner! Ultimate Tortellini Skillet is beefy, cheesy, and hearty, with the tender cheese-stuffed tortellini coated in all sorts of fragrant, herbaceous seasonings! It's ready in under half an hour too, so you don't need to wait to enjoy every bite! There's no end to the savory flavors of Ultimate Tortellini Skillet... and you won't want it to end!
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 teaspoons Montreal Steak® Seasoning
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1 1/2 teaspoons beef bouillon granules
- 1 (20-ounce) package cheese tortellini, fresh or frozen
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- fresh parsley, optional, to taste, chopped, for garnish
Directions
Step 1 -In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the beef and cook, while crumbling, until it is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
Step 2 -Drain the excess fat from the skillet.
Step 3 -Add the steak seasoning, the garlic powder, the Italian seasoning, the water, and the bouillon granules to the beef and stir to combine.
Step 4 -Bring the beef mixture to a boil.
Step 5 -Add the tortellini to the beef mixture and stir to combine.
Step 6 -Bring the tortellini mixture to a boil.
Step 7 -Reduce the heat to a simmer and cover the skillet.
Step 8 -Cook until the tortellini is tender and heated through, about 4-5 minutes.
Step 9 -Sprinkle the tortellini with the cheese and transfer the skillet from the heat.
Step 10 -Cover the skillet and allow it to stand until the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes.
Step 11 -Garnish with the parsley and serve immediately.
