Ingredients

  • 4 ounces vodka
  • 4 ounces limeade
  • 2 ounces grenadine
  • ice, cubed and crushed, to taste, divided
  • lemon-lime soda, to taste
  • lime wedges, optional, to taste, for garnish
  • maraschino cherries, optional, to taste, for garnish

Directions

Step 1 -Add the vodka, the limeade, and the grenadine to a beverage shaker filled with the ice cubes.

Step 2 -Cover and shake well.

Step 3 -Strain the cocktail mixture into a cocktail glass filled halfway with the crushed ice.

Step 4 -Top with enough of the lemon-lime soda to almost fill the cocktail glass.

Step 5 -Top with more of the crushed ice.

Step 6 -Garnish with lime wedges and the maraschino cherries, and serve!
