Simply Delicious Steamed Asparagus is a perfect example of how you can enjoy what you eat without spending hours in the kitchen. It only takes five ingredients to create this flavorful, tender goodness that's just plain yummy. And it only takes ten minutes, too! See? Easy dishes really do exist, and they make your life easier and a whole lot tastier too. So, ditch those overwhelming recipes and try Simply Delicious Steamed Asparagus instead! Ingredients
- 1 pound medium asparagus, stalks trimmed and peeled
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- kosher salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
Directions
Step 1 -Pour enough water to rise to a depth of 1-inch in a large saucepan and set up a collapsible steamer inside the saucepan.
Step 2 -Bring the water to a boil, lay the asparagus in the steamer, cover, and steam until they are crisp-tender, about 4-5 minutes.
Step 3 -Transfer the asparagus to a heated serving dish, drizzle with the oil, and season them with the salt and the pepper.
Step 4 -Garnish the asparagus with the lemon wedges and serve immediately.
