  • 2 cups dry herbed stuffing mix
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 4 cups chicken, cooked and shredded
  • 1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon chicken base bouillon
  • 4 ounces Swiss cheese, sliced

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 -In a large bowl, combine the stuffing mix and the butter and mix until the stuffing is evenly coated. Set the stuffing mixture aside.

Step 3 -In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, the cream of chicken soup, the sour cream, the milk, and the bouillon and mix until combined.

Step 4 -Spread the chicken mixture into a casserole dish.

Step 5 -Place the Swiss cheese slices over the top of the chicken mixture.

Step 6 -Spread the stuffing mix over the top of the Swiss cheese layer.

Step 7 -Bake the chicken casserole until the edges are bubbling, about 30-40 minutes.
